Email To Friend Print Version | Lillian Misick has withdrawn her membership in the new non-political organisation PUSH (People United to Save our Homeland). Her resignation was sent to and posted on the TCI Journal.
The PUSH organisation has also announced they are not a political party nor will they morph into a political entity.
TCI Net News did not publish a list of the reported members by name but sources did report Misick’s membership, with indications that she was tentative about her participation in the newly-formed group.
Misick is a member of the Consultative Forum, as are other members of the group, which include Dr Linda Williams and Sharlene Cartwright Robinson. TCI Net News contacted Robinson, who confirmed that the group has no political ambitions. There are indications that the chairman of the Forum gave permission for members to participate in PUSH
The TCI Sun has published a story claiming the group is a Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM)-sponsored organisation. However one active founding member of the group is Robert Hall, who the Sun had recently reported to be a candidate for leadership of the Progressive National Party (PNP). | | | | Reads : 294 |
