Letter: 'Duly elected' government

Email To Friend Print Version | Dear Sir:
I must say now that I am sick and I am tired of hearing from former disgraced ministers and their cronies about the last internal government being “duly elected”.
Without going into the 2003 by-election and the 2007 election, the details of which everyone is well aware, I must say that in my opinion the last truly “duly elected government” was the PDM government, which was elected and the election certified as accurate in 2003.
Manipulations and the mess we have been experiencing as a result of six years of terrible government do not reflect anything good for the Turks and Caicos Islands, my home.
One only needs to look around to see that the members, supporters and heirs of the last honest government, which was manipulated out of power in August 2003, are still holding their heads high and proud of their accomplishments, their record and their agenda for the future of these islands.
